Summer festival

Every year my home town holds a summer festival on the last Saturday of August. So this year's was yesterday.
I met up with my best friend at our house (my brothers were at their friends). We had some drinks, got to talk a lot and geberally sad had a blast. At about halb past 10 we went to town and met up with two other friends. (we had to pay 4 Euros entrance :()We walked around a bit, met many people and saw even more we did not really want to see. Thats what I hate about small towns you know so many people. In the afternoon I went to the pool and I met a mother of a former team mate and she kept watching me THE WHOLE TIME. I felt like at the zoo. One of the people I did not want to see at first was my old classmate. We used to be really good friends and even planned on going to Australia together for a year after graduating. However, around the time I feel in love with Henny she surprised me with the news that she was pregnant. Huge shock! Ok, so obviously Australia was off. She got her baby (a boy) during the summer holidays and afterwards I went back to school and she stayed home with her baby boy. I tried to visit her, but she was very busy and I somehow got the impression that she didnt want me around. After MANY attempts to meet her, to be a part of her life, I somehow gave up and she never asked me to come around anyway. So we lost contact.
Yesterday, I saw her again for the first time in...3 years. First I was not sure whether I really wanted to talk to her, but one of my friends literally dragged me to her. And guess what? we had a nice little chat for about half an hour. She told me that her husband had recently moved out and she now was a single mom and she now worked somewhere. It was sad to hear because she really had a lot of potential, yet its her life. In the end we swapped phone numbers again and she promised to call me soon. I really hope she does cause during our conversation I could see why we were once friends. We agreed on so many things :)
Afterwards I went back to the rest of my friends and we just danced until the music was turned of around two in the morning. I went home with me feet and legs aching, but very happy as I had seen so many people I love.

Tell me about your weekend?
